pre-race jitters

That race, the one I’ve been talking about on this blog for months, is tomorrow. Eeek.

I’m excited, nervous, and ready…kind of. I feel like my training routine hasn’t been the best but I do feel that I can do this…for some reason. Call it arrogance or naivete, but I really am confident that I will meet my goal of finishing and having a good time in the process of finishing.

The race starts at 7 am in the morning, so I must get there around 6. This all means I should have been in bed an hour ago. But, I’m getting there.

I just finalized my race music mix, which has me almost more excited than actually completing the run. I’m looking forward to this journey. I’m looking forward to running.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow!

Any last minute tips for running a 10k that you’d be so kind to share?
